Today, we started with a range of questions, which came up while I revised at home:
- The different pronunciation of the letters tha/dhal ; ha/ha
- Other different pronunciations such as sin/sad; dal/dad; ta/ta; dhal/za; kaf/qaf
- Repetition on short - long vowels
- Moon (14) letters & Sun (14) letters with specific examples
Afterwards, we had a look on the two words, which were 'security' and 'holiday'. Following this, I wrote a dictation of the vocabulary of Unit 1. Finally, we went through Unit 2 and exercised the pronunciation of the listenings p. 18 and p.20.
The homework for the 01/11 will be:
1. A repetition of ALL letters and their CORRECT writing
2. The choice of two new words
3. Exercices of Unit 2
- Ex. 5 p. 21
- Ex. 6 p. 23
- Ex. 7 p. 24
4. Learning of Vocabulary until Unit 2 - preparation for Dictation
